home | Societal impact | Sexual health and safety of sex workers during COVID-19

We did research on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on sexual health and safety of sex workers in the Netherlands. As a result many sex workers were forced to continue working illegally, causing poorer sexual health, safety and an increase in violence. With the findings from our research we continuously and successfully took actions in convincing the Dutch government to take responsibility for the health and safety of sex workers in the Netherlands.
